If you're going to be in the Charlotte or Raleigh areas later this month, you may want to prepare your taste buds for a little indulgence. That's because both of North Carolina's largest metropolitan areas will be holding their popular "Restaurant Week" promotions at the end of January, meaning you'll be able to get great meals at top restaurants for amazing prices.
In Charlotte, the event (called Queen's Feast) runs from January 21-30, and features more than 80 upscale restaurants cooking up fabulous three-course meals for $30. Participating restaurants are all over the metro area, from Uptown Charlotte to Ballantyne to Lake Norman and even Gastonia.

Over in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area, the Triangle Restaurant Week begins on January 24, and features about 70 area restaurants which are also preparing three-course meals for amazing prices ($15 for lunch, $20 or $30 for dinner). The Raleigh event also features tours by Taste Carolina Gourmet food Tours, and the folks in the Triangle have already scheduled an encore event for the week of June 6-12!
Bon Appetit!
(For those of you on the coast... Wilmington's event, now called Encore Restaurant Week, is scheduled for March 23-30, so you have time to plan your feasting options.)
